Pinal County Deputies Arrest Sex Offender On The Run

A fugitive sex offender is in custody thanks to the work of Pinal County deputies

According to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, on January 31, deputies arrested Raymond Corrales, a convicted sex offender, after he absconded from probation two months ago.

Deputies originally arrested Corrales in December of 2021 after drove to meet a “15-year-old girl” for sex. That girl was an undercover (Pinal County Sheriff’s Office) PCSO internet crime detective.

Corrales had been hiding out in Tennessee and California, but recently returned to Arizona for a couple of days. As he attempted to board a plane to Philadelphia, PCSO Deputies were waiting for him at Sky Harbor Airport.

“We’ve caught this guy twice now. A big thank you to my deputies for their work reminding criminals that in Pinal County there will be no running from justice,” said Sheriff Mark Lamb.
