Migrant Traffic Unabated Across Arizona Border

Illegal border crossings in Arizona show no signs of slowing down, in fact the Tucson Sector Border Patrol officials just reported the apprehension of a group of 235 illegal aliens from 14 different nations.

On Monday, Tucson Sector Chief Patrol Agent John R. Modlin tweeted out a photo of the group, which included single adults, families, and small children, apprehended by Ajo Station agents.

“Though large groups of migrants are less common in Tucson Sector, Ajo Station agents responded to 911 calls Monday evening near Lukeville, AZ, and located 235 migrants from 14 different countries,” tweeted Modlin. “Several agents responded and took custody of the group without incident.”

According to a three-day report tweeted out by Modlin, there were a total of 3,410 illegal aliens apprehended in that period. Agents also seized 228 pounds of marijuana, 10.3 pounds of methamphetamine, 3.9 pounts of Heroin, and 3.3 pounds of Fentanyl.

Modlin also indicated that 23 of the aliens apprehended had existing criminal records for prior offenses.
