Phoenix homicide detectives have identified the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred this week as 20-year-old David Perez.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call near 2500 West Maryland Avenue just after 6:00 a.m., on April 25, 2023. When officers got to the scene, they found David Perez suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. The suspect left prior to police getting to the scene.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTEGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case.
