Phoenix police have made an arrest in connection with the shooting in south Phoenix left a man dead.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, Cadence Allen, age 18, was interviewed by detectives and later booked on multiple felonies to include 1st Degree Murder for the death of Lashaw White.
On June 22, 2023, around 10:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of 1600 East Jones Avenue regarding gunshots heard near a home in the area. When officers arrived, they located the residence in question and found the 18-year-old Lashaw White with gunshot wounds. He did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene.
