On Friday, the Uber driver who was watching a movie when she should have been watching the road was sentenced in a Maricopa County courthouse.
Rafaela Vasquez (aka Rafael Vasquez), age 49, pled guilty to Endangerment and was sentenced her to three years of supervised probation. The charge will only be designated a misdemeanor upon successful completion of her sentence.
A Maricopa County Grand Jury charged Vasquez, with one count of Negligent Homicide in the death of Elaine Herzberg on March 18, 2018.
