Detectives with the Phoenix Police Department are investigating a stabbing that left one man dead near 27th Avenue and Thunderbird Road.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on September 17, 2023, around 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of 2600 West Thunderbird Road regarding a man who had been stabbed. Officers and Phoenix Fire personnel arrived and located the man, who was ultimately transported to a local hospital.
The man did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case.
