Three People Call Phoenix Police To Report Their Involvement In Deadly Shooting

Three people called the Phoenix Police Department to let authorities know they were involved in a deadly shooting on Saturday night.

Phoenix police are investigating the shooting that occurred near 19th Avenue and Deer Valley Road.

According to the Department, officers responded to a shooting call outside a business near 19th Avenue and Deer Valley Road. When they arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. The man was rushed to the hospital by the fire department where he later died from his injuries.

Later that evening, officers received information that three individuals called and reported they were involved in the shooting. They were detained and cooperated by speaking with investigators. They were later released pending the conclusion of the investigation.

The investigation remains active. Once completed, the case will be reviewed by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office for any charges.
