Phoenix Police Department detectives have arrested 38-year-old Steven Silva for the brutal murder of a man at a local business near downtown Phoenix, Tuesday night.
Just after 9:00 p.m. on October 10, 2023, officers responded to a fight call at a business near 1600 West Buckeye Road. When officers got to the scene, they found 44-year-old Augustine Garcia suffering from severe trauma. Phoenix Fire personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Garcia deceased.
On October 11, 2023, detectives and tactical units from the Phoenix Police Department arrested 38-year-old Steven Silva for his involvement in the brutal murder of Garcia. A second suspect, 35-year-old Santiago Silva, is also wanted in connection with the murder. Detectives have reached out to Silent Witness to solicit community help in locating him.
