Phoenix Police detectives are investigating an afternoon shooting that left a teen boy dead.
On December 9, 2023, around 1:45 p.m., Phoenix police officers responded to the apartment complex located at 4802 North 19th Avenue regarding a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they located a teen, identified as 16-year-old Lucius Holman Jr., with at least one gunshot wound. Holman Jr. was transported to a local hospital. He did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case.
