On Friday night, a father and son were arrested at a residence in Prescott Country Club on felony drug charges and other counts, and authorities say a large quantity of weapons was also seized.
Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking (PANT) detectives were called to assist Yavapai County Sheriff’s patrol deputies on a welfare check at the home of 68-year-old Michael Grossman Sr. The initial call was placed by his son, 29-year-old Michael Grossman Jr, who also lives at the home.
Based on information provided by deputies, PANT detectives executed a search warrant and found 85 fentanyl pills, drug paraphernalia, and nearly 20 firearms.
Both father and son were jailed on felony counts of Possession or Use of a Narcotic Drug, Possession or use of Drug Paraphernalia, and Use or Possession of a Deadly Weapon during the Commission of a Felony. The elder Grossman also faces a felony charge of Defacing a Deadly Weapon.
