Phoenix Police detectives are investigating a west valley single vehicle collision which left a man dead.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on December 28, 2023, around 11:40 p.m., officers responded to the area of 27th Avenue and Palm Lane regarding a single collision where the vehicle struck a nearby pole. When officers arrived, they located an adult male driver of a vehicle involved with serious injuries. The man was transported to a local hospital where he did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Detectives believe that the man’s vehicle was northbound on 27th Avenue when, for unknown reasons, it traveled across the southbound lanes and continued off the roadway and into a nearby pole. There is no indication that another vehicle was involved in this collision.
