Newly-opened indoor pickleball facility The Pickleball Space is gearing up for its official two-day Grand Opening Charity Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 20 and Sunday, Jan. 21 beginning at 8 a.m. with 50% of proceeds benefitting the C4 Foundation.

The Pickleball Space, a spacious indoor pickleball venue dedicated to bringing the vibrant spirit of pickleball and local Arizona fare to Glendale, is located at 5665 W. Bell Rd, sharing its walls with popular bounce park, Stratosphere Adventure Park.

The expansive 30,000 square-foot facility, equipped with 10 indoor courts, offers up a pickleball haven and local Arizona fare, serving Peixoto coffee and healthy ready-to-eat meals by Custom Provisions. Additionally, it houses a dedicated Pickleball Pro Shop where enthusiasts can find a variety of pickleball gear available to rent or purchase, courtesy of Ray’s Rackets.

“We are thrilled to bring the Glendale community a welcoming space for players of all skill levels to experience the game of pickleball,” said John Solema, director of development & programs. “Our vision is to deliver a warm and dynamic sense of community at our venue, and to be a space where the game of pickleball can thrive.”

To commemorate its grand opening, The Pickleball Space is hosting a special weekend charity pickleball tournament, dedicating 50% of proceeds to support the C4 Foundation, an organization providing vital resources and support to active-duty Navy SEALs and their families. The two-day tournament, featuring men’s and women’s doubles on Saturday, Jan. 20 and mixed doubles on Sunday, Jan. 21, is bringing a wave of enthusiasm to the community.

“We invite all to experience The Pickleball Space and its incredible features,” said Kali Broderick, co-founder. “This tournament is just the beginning of our efforts to forge connections and community bonds through the love of pickleball.”

The Pickleball Space offers leagues, lessons and tournaments catering to players of all skills levels. The venue provides the opportunity to learn from certified and trained coaches through diverse formats including group, private, semi-private and small-group lessons at its Pickleball Academy. The facility also welcomes drop-ins for $12 through the free mobile app, CourtReserve.
