
A Tucson man, Esteban Terrazas, was sentenced last week to 87 months in prison after pleading guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine on October 27, 2023.
According to the Department of Justice, on August 10, 2021, law enforcement officers stopped Terrazas for a traffic violation and found approximately one pound of methamphetamine and a loaded handgun in his possession. Terrazas admitted that he intended to sell the methamphetamine and that he was prohibited from possessing a gun.
Terrazas has multiple prior felony convictions, the most recent being for manslaughter, that prohibit him from possessing firearms.
