Casa Grande Police Looking For Homicide Suspect

The Casa Grande Police Department is currently looking for a suspect, Marcus Hatton, in a homicide which occurred in the 1900 block of North Vista Lane.

According to the Casa Grande Police Department, the crime was reported at 7:48 a.m., Monday morning.

The victim, 45-year-old Casa Grande resident Steve Shinault, suffered from multiple gunshots to his torso.

The 49-year-old Hatton is considered armed and dangerous.

Although this is still an active investigation, detectives have determined the victim and Hatton knew each other and were engaged in an altercation outside of a residence. After being shot, the victim attempted to drive away in his vehicle and crashed into two residential structures a short distance away in the 1100 block of East Prickly Pear Street.

No one else on scene was injured.
