Maricopa County Grand Jury Indicts Notorious Tagger

A Maricopa County grand jury has indicted a notorious tagger, Jordan Dale Quimayousie, for committing more than 750 acts of graffiti in and around Phoenix’s 19th Avenue Corridor over the past several years.

Quimayousie is accused of using several aliases as he vandalized property including bus stops, sidewalks, curbs, crosswalk signs, buildings, fire hydrants, and more. The graffiti prompted numerous complaints from area residents and caused damage exceeding $57,000. Quimayousie now faces multiple charges including:

  • One count of Criminal Damage, a Class Four felony
  • Two counts of Aggravated Criminal Damage

He remains in custody with a $50,000 cash-only bond.

  1. Since they built the Blight Rail, 19th Ave has become a cesspool of vagrants and other assorted scum.

  2. I pray prop 312 passes and becomes a precursor to the many destructive behaviors of criminals including “tagging” violations!
    Protect our small businesses and neighborhoods. It’s you job!

  3. It’s always good to see when they finally prosecute one of these vandals, nothing is safe from their “art”. I work for a school district that sees many, many “tagging” incidences throughout the year and the man-power/removal-equipment costs alone would pay a person’s yearly salary! Through the years, I’ve noticed a progressing and complete lack of respect for private and public property and it, to me, serves as an indicator of our society’s declining nature. A true shame when one looks back on how our nation used to be, something younger generations probably can’t comprehend.
