Marana Man Demanded Officers Shoot Him During Domestic Violence Arrest

A 48-year-old man was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, endangerment and domestic violence Wednesday night, according to the Marana Police Department

On November 20, 2024, shortly after 8:00 p.m., officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 7900 block of W. Moonfire Court. The suspect, identified as Timothy Sullivan, fired several gunshots while officers were en route. The other occupants of the residence, his wife and daughter, were able to safely escape.

Upon the officers’ arrival, Sullivan fired several more shots, both inside and around the residence, demanding officers shoot him.

Sullivan was arrested and booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center for Aggravated Assault, Endangerment, and other Domestic Violence related offenses.
