A man has died after being burned after a deadly collision in Yavapai County.
According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s office, on Saturday just after noon, deputies responded to a report of a single-vehicle UTV crash on state trust land northeast of Coyote Springs in Prescott Valley.
When deputies arrived, they found the male driver and lone occupant of the vehicle had pulled himself away from the burning side-by-side. Witnesses comforted the badly burned and injured driver until medical help arrived and began life-saving measures.
Shortly after, the victim was airlifted to a hospital in Phoenix but sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
