Phoenix Police Department detectives are investigating an early morning shooting that claimed the life of a man.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on February 25, 2025, around 6:00 a.m., officers responded to the area of 22nd Avenue and Medlock Drive regarding a fight. As officers were responding to the area, they learned that the caller heard at least one gunshot. When officers arrived, they located an adult male with at least one gunshot wound. The man was transported to a nearby hospital but did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
This remains an active investigation.
