On Monday, April 28th, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office began investigating the suspicious death of a man.
On Wednesday afternoon, detectives finished processing the scene after a thorough examination of the residence. Detectives identified the victim as 76-year-old William Schonemann.
On Thursday, the Medical Examiner’s Office has officially ruled Mr. Schonemann’s death a homicide.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) believes this is an isolated incident and there is no further risk or safety concerns for the community.
