“Goodbye Pisces” #5: the End of Terracentric Religions

Refer to #4 : Where Trump Might be Taking Us

When I was mandated to the Methodist Church back in the “Buckle of the Bible Belt”, as an impressionable and horny teenager, several of my girlfriends in those days, attempted to covert me to that end stage of the Buckle’s final cul-de-sac de doctrinaire, Pentecostalism.

My Jewish friends in that small southern, swamp-river malarial hamlet, …warned me about their seductive entreaties, its fleshly lubrications, and the teen-fatherhood consequences (aka “shotgun weddings”); not to mention its entirely crude & simplistic theology.  Fortunately, I was not smitten enough to buy the quality of the goods offered; I had seen better.

During an interesting career, I got to live-in & visit various parts of the world, where there were different religions, and can attest to Mark Twains’ keen observation about travel; that it is “fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.”

So, I’ve had some time here on this Earth to consider, study & ponder various religions, especially as a retail consumer and pedestrian observer.  Especially in the Middle East & Asia.

All our major religions today are ‘Terracentric’; they have painted themselves into one hell of a cosmic corner.

Their messages, doctrines & covenants, rules & regs, punishments & rewards, et al, only admit to one world, i.e. Planet Earth.  And a God (or gods), his minions, their arch-enemies, etc. etc. who is only concerned with this terra firma.  Big mistake as we leave this past Piscean Era.

Everyday our scientists bump-up the probabilities that Planet Earth is not all there is.  Everyday.  If you do not understand the implications of this, or have not been paying attention; please—by all means, go educate yourself.  Not only those valid & scientific & astronomical aspects, but there’s a whole existing historical & new body of data, with serious & learned investigators, now including the US Dept. of Defense, who also think we’re ‘not all there is.’   (the US Deep-State has to realize all this, or maybe they’re under time deadline?)

In 1492, when Columbus’ ships were first sighted from the beach, legend has it the natives, who had never seen such advanced creations, could not physically ‘see’ the ships.  They knew something large and different was out there huddled in 3 pieces, disturbing the water without moving, a force not seen before.  The village shaman was called in and he diagnosed & treated the problem.   Then Chris’ guys came ashore.

Today’s end of the woozy, make-believe, delusional Piscean Era says we’re all on that beach, upgraded in time & space.

While what happened in the following 2-300 years after Columbus may still be up for debate; the Italian navigator did not travel all that way (and he thought he was in India) to be subtle about the beach introductions.   As the diplomats sometimes note, “large and in-charge” does work best, but that’s usually when both parties are civilized, and their institutional counterparts want to take the risk.

BUT, timing is crucial.  If Mankind’s modern era began sometime around the American Revolution, and spread quite rapidly, even 100+ yrs later into various industrial nations and their increasingly deadly wars; there have been lulls in between eras, like our departing Pisces, in which any kind of extraterrestrial intelligence could have made its presence known awkwardly.  The Atom Bomb changed all that; and what various researchers are finding today happened afterwards (1947 to present); Planet Earth could be in for a big surprise.

This is my warning to all those terracentric religions out there; if “large and in-charge” shows up with a sailing ship the size of Madagascar, and parks silently in an Earth-orbit where all the continents can see, between us and Moon. ….it might be time for a re-write of the whole human narrative.

As a footnote, Planet Earth probably needs this [hopefully friendly] intervention ASAP; afterwards, I don’t see nation-states dissolving, at least not right away, but Piscean “Big Religion” is in a heap-o-trouble.
