Mexican Man Sentenced In Conspiracy To Deal Meth And Fentanyl

A Mexican man, German Montano-Peralta, has been sentenced to 88 months in prison, after pleading guilty to Conspiracy to Distribute Fentanyl and Methamphetamine.

The 33-year-old Montano-Peralta’s prison sentence is to be followed by three years of supervised release.

On April 30, 2024, in Tucson, Arizona, Montano-Peralta, from Nacozari, Sonora, Mexico, and others possessed approximately 40 kilograms of powder and pills containing fentanyl and more than 55 pounds of methamphetamine, which they intended to deliver to others later that day.
