The Dandy Project will host its Second Annual “Double Down for Dandy” Fundraiser on Saturday, October 25, at 7:00 PM at The Empire Scottsdale, bringing together civic leaders, business owners, and community advocates for an evening in support of Arizona families.
The Dandy Project, a 501(c)(3) public charity, helps struggling parents by purchasing surplus and returned items from major retailers at a fraction of their retail value.
These items, including car seats, strollers, cribs, and other essential supplies, are distributed through partnerships with law enforcement agencies, community organizations, and tribal networks across the state.
“Our model is simple but effective,” said Jedidiah Lyons, Co-Founder of The Dandy Project. “We take what’s often sitting in warehouses and put it directly into the hands of parents who need it most. This event allows us to expand that reach and make sure no child in Arizona goes without the essentials.”
This year’s event will feature a full casino experience, live entertainment, and a short program highlighting Dandy’s impact across Arizona. Featured guests include elected officials, nonprofit leaders, and community advocates who share the organization’s commitment to strengthening families and supporting parents on the front lines of raising the next generation.
