
Phoenix Police detectives are investigating a crash that left a man dead.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on October 19, at around 8:37 p.m. officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian in the area of 27th Avenue and West Northern Road. When officers arrived on scene, they located a man with serious injuries. Phoenix Fire transported the man to the hospital, but he did not survive his injuries.
The vehicle that hit the man left the scene prior to police arrival.
Detectives believe the man was crossing Northern Avenue mid-block when he was hit by a vehicle heading westbound on Northern Avenue.
