On Friday, despite claims by past election officials that noncitizens do not vote in Arizona elections, Maricopa County Recorder Justin Heap revealed that, in fact, they have.

The truth came out while the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office was trying to confirm full ballot eligibility for 61,681 Maricopa County voters affected by the “MVD-DPOC” (Arizona Motor Vehicle Division – Documentary Proof of Citizenship) issue.
The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office conducted a review of these records using the federal SAVE database. That review confirmed U.S. citizenship and full ballot eligibility for 58,782 voters.
The Recorder’s Office assured the public that those individuals’ registrations have already been updated to ensure they are able to receive a full ballot in future elections.
However, the review also identified 137 registered voters who are not U.S. citizens. Of those, 60 individuals have voted in prior elections.
The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office is referring the identified non-citizens who have cast ballots to both the Arizona Attorney General’s Office and the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office for further review and any appropriate action.
“Our office extends its appreciation to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Secretary Kristi Noem for expanding access to the SAVE database,” the Recorder’s Office said in a press release. “We look forward to continued collaboration to ensure election integrity and that only eligible citizens participate in Maricopa County elections.
Heap’s announcement follows a visit from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on Friday morning, while she campaigned for the U.S. Senate to pass the federal voter ID requirements in the Save America Act.

During her visit, Noem repeated the claim made by many voters that Arizona has been “an absolute disaster on elections.”

So, 61,681 MVD-suspect registered voters minus 58,782 who checked out as US citizens in the federal SAVE database leaves 2899 who are NOT in the SAVE database. But only 137 of these are definitely not citizens? Checked out how? And what’s being done to check out the other 2762? Because that’s a potentially significant percentage of not-proven-citizens on the registered voters list.

And the AG will do nothing with the referral of non citizen voting cases. She won because of them last time.
The AG will fight to keep those illegal Democrat voters on the rolls.
Now, how many votes came from outside Arizona? How many were registered at bogus addresses? Secretary Noem is correct. Maricopa County elections have been a national embarrassment. However, that’s the way the Maricopa Board of Supervisors want it, by their zealous guarding of the status quo.
