Hockey Gold: Arizona Ties to Team USA and Team Canada

For the first time in 46 years, the United States men’s hockey team took home Olympic gold. With a 2-1 overtime victory over Canada, they joined the USA women’s team atop the podium at the Milan Cortina games.

Now, gold medals don’t just happen. The players, coaches and connections that make up USA Hockey — and Team Canada — run deep. Some of those threads lead straight to Arizona.
