Arizona State Senator Jake Hoffman seems to pride himself on controlling who will and will not serve. It sure does seem that in order to please the egomaniacal and blustery goon and win his nod, a candidate must be gullible, shady af, and/or vulnerable to cult-like tactics. But above all, it appears they must be bat shit crazy and unelectable.
