On April 12, 2026, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Scottsdale Police responded to reports of shots fired at a short-term rental property near 81st Street and Pine Drive. Responding officers located multiple bullet strikes on the residence and recovered numerous shell casings in the area. Several adults were inside the home at the time of the shooting; however, no injuries were reported.
Through investigative efforts, including surveillance footage, forensic evidence, social media search warrants, and coordination with partner agencies, detectives identified the suspects involved in the shooting. During the investigation, detectives served multiple search warrants and recovered several firearms connected to the case.
Investigators believe the shooting was a targeted retaliatory act connected to an armed robbery that occurred earlier that evening in Phoenix.
