Arizona Leaders Mourn Passing Of Jon Kyl

Arizona leaders from both sides of the political aisle mourned the passing of former Senator Jon Kyl on Thursday.

The Kyl family announced his death at the age of 84 in a statement: “We know Jon belonged to all of Arizona, a state he loved with vigor.”

Arizonans are mourning the loss of former U.S. Senator Jon Kyl. Throughout his decades of public service in the House and Senate, he was a dedicated statesman who always cared deeply for our state. My thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and loved ones.
