Trump To Make Immigration Speech In Arizona

Donald Trump announced in tweet on Sunday that he will be traveling to Arizona on Wednesday to make a major speech on immigration. Trump’s appearance in Arizona surprised many due to the fact that he snubbed Arizona’s Republican Latino leaders earlier this month.

Trump’s campaign in Arizona is chaotic at best; relying on a rag tag group of largely unsuccessful political operatives.

With illegal immigration presenting unique problems to Arizonans on a daily basis, the area provides a perfect backdrop for Trump to make the announcement. Just last week, a Chandler, Arizona woman was killed by an illegal alien.

Trump has said he supports “extreme vetting” of entrants.

Last week, Trump and the Republican National Committee met with Hispanic supporters in New York. There were no Arizona representatives invited. According to CNN, “… campaign manager Kellyanne Conway and CEO Steve Bannon accompanied Trump. Among those in attendance were Colorado State Rep. Clarice Navarro-Ratzlaff, California businessman and longtime Republican Mario Rodriguez and Florida State Rep. Jose Felix Diaz, who was in season 5 of the Trump-hosted “The Apprentice.”
