Alejandro Telles, age 39, of Tucson, was arrested by Pinal County Sheriff’s officers after he travelled to Florence to have sex with, who he believed to be, a 14-year-old female.
On Tuesday, Telles began talking to Pinal County Sheriff’s detectives earlier in the day. According to authorities, an investigator, posing as the minor, made it clear to Telles that he was speaking with a 14-year-old girl. Alejandro was “quite explicit and inappropriate” during his conversation with the investigator. Within hours of that conversation starting, Telles was driving up to meet the undercover detective.
Alejandro was booked into the Pinal County Jail on 1 count of Attempted Sex Conduct with a minor and 1 count of Luring a Minor.
