
PHOENIX – Tribal gaming contributions to the state of Arizona are up significantly according to the latest revenue figures.
According to the Arizona Department of Gaming the over $29 million total represents an 8.3 percent increase over the same quarter of FY2019.
“The gaming partnership between the State of Arizona and Arizona’s tribes has yielded 11 consecutive quarterly increases in tribal gaming contributions to the State,” said Ted Vogt, Director, Arizona Department of Gaming in a press release. “As this strong upward trend continues, so does the State’s ability to continue to serve the needs of our growing
communities.”
Tribal gaming contributions to the Arizona Benefits Fund for the second quarter of State FY2020 follow:

The Arizona Tribal-State Gaming Compact, Tribes requires casinos contribute 1 to 8 percent of their Class III gross gaming revenue to the state, cities, towns and counties. Currently, there are 24 Class III casinos in Arizona.
