
A Yuma man has been arrested in connection with the death of one of his siblings.
According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, on Saturday, February 12th, at approximately 3:33 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a deceased male in the area of the 5200 Block of S. West Street.
When deputies arrived they met with the person who reported the death. He said the suspect, identified as Adolfo Haros-Kempton, age 61, and the victim, identified as a male sibling of Adolfo’s, were in an argument that led to a physical altercation.
The altercation resulted in the Adolfo placing the victim in a choke hold, causing the victim to lose consciousness. Life saving measures were performed on the victim; however, the victim succumbed to his injuries.
Adolfo was located in a nearby abandoned trailer.
Adolfo was booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on 2nd Degree Homicide per Domestic Violence.
