An Arizona teacher accused of providing marijuana to one of his students has been arrested.
According to the Cottonwood Police Department, on August 14, 2024 Cottonwood Police Department officers arrested 50-year-old Damien Andre, a Camp Verde resident and teacher at Cottonwood Verde Tech School on charges of supplying marijuana and tobacco to a minor.
The arrest followed investigation into allegations that Andrea provided marijuana vaping fluid to one of his 15-year-old students.
Andrea allegedly had the marijuana vaping fluid delivered directly to the school, or he then gave it to the student. The investigation began when the students parent reported the teacher’s inappropriate actions to authorities.
