Phoenix Police detectives are investigating a shooting that left one teen dead and two others hospitalized.
On September 21, 2024, around midnight, an officer in the area of 1200 South 7th Avenue was flagged down by a vehicle that contained multiple juveniles with gunshot wounds. In total, three teenagers were found to have suffered gunshot wounds and all were transported to a nearby hospital. Two of these victims had injuries determined to be non-life threatening. The third teenaged male did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The original shooting scene was ultimately located in the area of 13th Street and Van Buren Street.
Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case.
