
Phoenix Police detectives have arrested a teenager for posting school threats on social media that led to Sierra Linda High School being locked down.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, detectives worked around the clock to identify locate and apprehend the female who made the threat.
On October 3, 2024, the teen was arrested and interviewed about the threat. The teen admitted to her involvement and stated that the threat was meant to be a joke and got out of hand.
The teenager was booked into a juvenile correctional center and charged with three felonies, terroristic threats, computer tampering and disruption of an educational institution.
