Man Stabbed At Phoenix Bus Stop Dies At Gas Station Seeking Help

Phoenix Police Department detectives are looking for a suspect involved in a stabbing that left one man dead.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, on February 23, 2025, around 7:10 p.m., officers were called to a stabbing call at a gas station near 27th Avenue and Thomas Road. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a stab wound. The fire department responded and rushed the man, later identified as 35-year-old Ryan Festa, to the hospital. Festa received treatment but later died from his injuries.

No suspects were located at the scene.

Detectives believe Festa was stabbed at a bus stop next to the gas station then walked to the store for help. The suspect left before police arrived. Currently, no suspects have been detained; however, detectives are actively following leads. Anyone with information is asked to call Phoenix police or Silent Witness, if they wish to remain anonymous.
