Phoenix Police detectives are investigating an overnight shooting that left one teenage male in critical condition and left a woman in the hospital.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on April 1, 2025, around 8:00 p.m., officers responded to the area of 35th Avenue and Baseline Road regarding a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a teenage male with at least one life-threatening gunshot wound in the parking lot. The teen male was transported to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition.
During the investigation, officers received information from a nearby hospital of a reported walk-in with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Officers responded and contacted the adult female who said she was there at the time of the shooting. The female was treated and eventually released.
