Motorcycle Rider Dead After Phoenix Collison with Vehicle

Phoenix Police Department detectives are investigating a fatal collision that occurred in Phoenix, leaving a motorcycle driver dead.

Around 5:22 p.m., officers responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and a sedan in the area of 22nd Street and Campbell Avenue. As officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult male motorcycle driver identified as Camden Allen Riedy in critical condition.

The Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene and transported Camden to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

Detectives believe that Camden made an unsafe pass on the right while traveling westbound on Campbell Avenue and utilized the bike lane. The driver, an adult woman, was traveling westbound on Campbell Avenue, approaching 22nd Street, and attempting to make a right turn.

The woman remained on the scene; there were no signs of impairment.

  1. the motor bike riders have ‘watch out for motorcycle stickers on their cars’ I think it should be the other way around “Motor BIKERS! LOOK OUT FOR CARS! You will loose if you find one’… White lining ; 100 mph main traffic sprints, 130 and greater runs on the freeway.. make no mistake if you do ‘your are probably dead’ if you involve a car – they that driers life is changed for ever more. But it’s the cars? Sorry its the Motor Bike Rider – that needs the greater survival common sense. This type of low commons sense rider is common to everyday city traffic. How do you fix that?
