Phoenix Man Booked for Murder After Woman Found Dead in November

Phoenix Police detectives have booked a 64-year-old man for the murder of a woman in late November.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, on November 22, 2025, at around 1:05 p.m., officers responded to the area of 1500 South 3rd Avenue regarding a dead body. When officers arrived, they found an adult female, identified as 66-year-old Lilly Fields, deceased. Detectives responded to assume the investigation. The scene investigation revealed elements of a homicide, which was confirmed by the Office of the Medical Examiner.

Homicide detectives established probable cause to arrest the suspect, identified as Virgil Lindsey. On December 1, 2025, Lindsey was booked on murder charges related to this investigation. Lindsey and Fields were intimate partners making this a domestic violence case.
