On Sunday morning, Phoenix Police officer began an investigation after a body was found in a canal.
According to the Phoenix police department, officers were called to the area of 35th Ave and Indian School Road just before 10:30 a.m. after receiving a report of a body in the canal. The Phoenix Fire Department responded to the scene and confirmed the person was deceased.
The person’s identity and the cause of death have not been determined.
