Phoenix Police Department detectives were called to investigate the stabbing death of a man near downtown Phoenix late Monday night.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, just after 10:00 p.m. on Monday night, Phoenix officers responded to an unknown trouble call of an unresponsive man near 1200 North Central Avenue. When officers arrived in the area, they located 29-year-old Jaquail Dillard unresponsive and suffering from a stab wound. Phoenix Fire personnel responded to provided Dillard with emergency lifesaving care. Dillard was not able to overcome his injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.
Detectives are asking anyone with information related to the suspect or what led to this incident to call in anonymously to Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (948-6377).
