The suspect in a deadly shooting incident in October has been identified as 25-year-old Efrain Cuevas Jr.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, detectives are investigating a man who died from a shooting in west Phoenix.
On October 9, 2025, at around 5:22 p.m., officers responded to the area of 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road regarding a shooting. When officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene and transported the man to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.
