Goodyear Police are seeking the public’s help in their investigation into an elderly bicyclist’s death.
According to the Goodyear Police Department, on May 12, 2026, at approximately 7:30 a.m., officers responded to an injury collision involving a vehicle and a bicycle at San Gabriel Dr. and Elliot Rd. An elderly female bicyclist was transported to the hospital with life‑threatening injuries.
Investigators have limited video evidence and no witness statements from the time of the incident, which occurred during the busy morning school drop‑off period directly in front of Estrella Elementary School.
