The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a murder suicide.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on June 30th, 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Phoenix Police responded to a disturbance at an apartment complex in the area of 2500 West North Foothills Drive.
Upon arrival, they located 42-year-old Alyssa Ann Sydow-Hoffert and 59-year-old Henry Arthur Sydow-Hoffert inside of the home. Both were deceased.
Detectives believe that Alyssa died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds, while Henry died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
