Victim Killed In South Phoenix Robbery Identified

Phoenix police have identified the victim of a robbery in south Phoenix that occurred over the weekend.

According to Phoenix Police Department Sergeant Sheree Lee, on September 12, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers responded to a shots-fired call in the area of 4600 South 19th Street. Officers located a vehicle in the roadway surrounded by multiple shell casings. Shortly afterward, two females, approached officers and reported they had been robbed by several unidentified males. A male victim was with the females at the time of the robbery but left prior to officers arriving on scene. Officers impounded the involved vehicle and completed a robbery report.

On September 13, 2026, at approximately 2:00 a.m., officers responded to 4600 South 19th Street to a report of a female who found her boyfriend deceased in the backyard. Responding officers contacted two females, who stated while searching the backyard, the females located the victim, Damarion Goins, who had been with them during the robbery and had been shot. He was pronounced deceased on scene.

No arrests have been made.
