Although pollsters are erratic in the final days of the 2020 General Election cycle, voters are steadily getting their ballots to the box.
According to Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes, 1.63 million voters have already cast their ballots, which is more than all Maricopa County voters in the 2016 General Election. As of Sunday, ballots turned in to the Maricopa County Recorder are: Republican 623,820, Democrat 577,621, Other 434,824.
The Pima County Recorder’s Office reports that as of October 30, it had processed a record 376,766 vote by mail and walk-in early ballots.
With over 72% of the early ballots requested having been returned as of Friday, Pima County was “breaking early voting records daily” according to Recorder F. Ann Rodriguez.
The Pima County Recorders Office provided the number of Active Eligible Voters in Pima County and the number of ballots verified by the Office. The numbers shown are broken down by age and percentage returned.*
10-29-2020 – We have issued 70,722 early ballots and 47,178 voted ballots have been returned. There is still time for the other 23,544 early voters to drop off their voted early ballots. It’s too late to mail them back. The deadline to drop off your early ballot is 7 pm, Nov 3.
