Phoenix Murder Suspect Turns Himself Over To CBP Agents At Lukeville

The suspect, Eduardo Ramirez-Galindo, in the murder of 24-year-old Andrea Casarrubias Romero has turned himself in to Customs and Border Patrol agents at the Lukeville, Arizona station.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, on May 4, 2024, just before 8:30 am, officers received a check welfare call at a home near 27th Avenue and Devonshire Avenue. Officers arrived and spoke to the caller, who stated he found blood on his driveway that led into his tenant’s portion of the house. Officers entered the home and found Casarrubias Romero deceased from what appeared to be multiple stab wounds.

After the 32-year-old Ramirez-Galindo turned himself over to Customs and Border Patrol agents, he was then taken into custody by Phoenix police detectives and returned to Phoenix. He was interviewed by detectives and made admissions regarding the death of victim Casarrubias Romero.

Ramirez-Galindo was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on one count of Second-Degree Murder.
