Vogt, Miller win Latino endorsement

ALRA’s Tucson chapter (Arizona Latino Republican Association – Tucson) has endorsed Representative Ted Vogt, and Pima County Board of Supervisors candidate Ally Miller, among others, citing the need for “strong, conservative leadership.” The chapter endorsed candidates from the Legislature to school board.

“After examining each candidate’s positions, our Board of Directors determined they are in solidarity with the conservative mission as stated in the Arizona Latino Republican Association’s defining philosophies,” the group said in a statement released Tuesday.

“Two of these Candidates are proven incumbents who, while serving in the State Senate and State House, helped turn around our State’s economy and have turned Arizona into the Nation’s leader in job creation. They need to be re-elected to Phoenix to ensure they can proceed with their great results continue to be championed and the great citizens of Arizona can continue benefit from their proven leadership and to prosper and move forward.

The rest of these dedicated citizens have stepped up during these crucial times in order to correct and lead us out of the many problems and situations that still confront us due to years of neglect, failed policies and lack of effective leadership of the rest of the current office holders or other newcomers running against them.”

One of those dedicated citizens, Ally Miller, said of the endorsement, “ALRA is an organization with a solid set of core values including smaller government, free market economy and the support of small business and reviving the entrepreneurial spirit so desperately needed in Pima County.”
