Big government zealots want to transform America into a totalitarian dictatorship. Controlling both houses of Congress and the presidency, the Democrat Party rammed through numerous big government programs on party-line votes. Big government programs are the antithesis of limited government based on enumerated powers.
The current NSA spying scandal implemented by the Democrats [they will yell that this program started under George Bush . . . another Democrat lie . . . Bush never spied on Americans . . . this is Obama’s totalitarian spying program] is a prime example of the freakish need for population control by the radical left.
The Common Core, one-size-fits-all federal education program, is another Democrat Party attempt at population control. Why else does Obama and company need to track parents and children from pre-school through adulthood? It does remind one of the fascist and Nazi policies of the 1930s and 1940s.
Single-payer government owned healthcare, which is where Obamacare is headed (straight from Harry Reid’s lips), is the cornerstone of socialism and a totalitarian state. Control of health is control of the people. United States citizens turn into Obama subjects who join the rest of the Obama drones living only for the monthly government stipend.
There are further similarities between the fascists, Nazis and the Democrat Party: demonization of everyone they opposed (see Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinksy). The Democrat Party has copied these techniques from those they idolized: communists, socialists, progressives and liberal fascists.
The Democrat Party lies. Obama and his cronies are historical revisionists. They claim that the government shutdown is an outrageous Republican attack on the democratic system that has never previously occurred. Wrong. It has occurred 18 times in the last twenty years or so, with Democrats doing the attacking. Lies, lies and more lies from the Democrats.
Democrats shrilly demand that Obamacare be left alone since it is settled law. So was Democrat-approved slavery and Jim Crow laws. Bad laws need to be changed. The Republicans are correct to challenge a bad law passed by a single political party against the will of a majority of American people.
The Democrats also decry the “alleged” shut down of the federal government. Great calamities will befall us, the Democrats exclaim. But lo and behold, the country is still here! Fifty state governments are doing just fine. The stock market is doing just fine. I write this column from Manchester, England. Nope. No one over here even blinked.
Aside from the Obamacare implementation, where are the catastrophes? Obama, not the Republicans, closed down the Washington Mall to needlessly punish our heroic veterans; Obama, not the Republicans, closed down national parks; Obama, not the Republicans, furloughed federal employees; Obama, not the Republicans, closed the White House to the American people; in fact, one park ranger disclosed he was ordered to make it as difficult as possible on ordinary citizens. This is the real Obama, giving a forearm salute to the American people.
Obama and his cronies could care less if the shutdown continues or ends. The primary issue for the Democrats is to not negotiate in good faith and make the Republicans look bad in the process. And the Republican “leadership” in Washington cooperated.
The Democrat Party is anti-constitution. Obama has already declared he hates the limitations of the Constitution. He wants a Constitution that tells him what he can do to the American people: like spy on them; control them like cattle; tax them out of house and home; screw them at will . . . like a true totalitarian. And the Republican “leadership” in Washington cooperated.
Whether the government shutdown forces default or Obama keeps driving America into debt, Obama is salivating at the win-win opportunity to destroy this country. Why else are the Democrats pushing the debt limit past $17 trillion? Why else are the Democrats pushing our national debt past 73% of GDP? Why else are the Democrats continuing to spend more than $1 trillion in annual deficit? Why else are the Democrats purposely destroying our armed forces?
The United States Navy has only 283 ships, its smallest fleet since before World War I. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel warned in July 2013 that the Navy was in danger of mothballing three Aircraft Carriers. The United States Army is no longer capable of fighting in two wars due to downsizing: the Army is scheduled to shrink by 14% or 80,000 troops by 2017. The United States Marines are scheduled to take an 18% hit in manpower. The Air Force is forced to ground a third of its fighter fleet. All this destruction to our military has occurred on Obama’s watch.
This ruination of America, its Constitution and its institutions, is the backstory to the so-called U.S. Government shutdown. Neo-communists, progressives, socialists and liberal fascists control the Democrat Party. Moderate and liberal Democrats lost their Democrat Party years ago. Democrat liberals and moderates should be mad – damned mad – that radical misfits stole the Democrat Party from them.
