Pima County carjacking suspect identity sought

On June 16, 2014, at approximately 12:49 a.m., Pima County deputies responded to the intersection of South Alvernon Way and East Ajo Way, regarding a man down.

When deputies arrived, they learned the man lying on the ground was the victim of a carjacking. The victim, 23-year-old Jeffrey Lenckus, had been at the Golden Nugget bar and had been introduced to five individuals there. Four of those individuals got into Mr. Lenckus’ car, with the victim in the back passenger seat. When the driver stopped in an unknown parking lot, one suspect brandished a firearm and threatened to harm the victim if he did not get out of the car.

The suspects took Mr. Lenckus’ wallet and other personal belongings and then chased the victim with the car after he got out. Mr. Lenckus was able to run away and did not sustain any serious injuries.

Three of the suspects involved have been identified and charged as follows:

• Bryson Patterson a.k.a. “Blue” (16-years-old): 3 counts of Armed Robbery, Aggravated Robbery, 2 counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Theft of Means of Transportation 2 counts of Armed Robbery, 2 counts of Aggravated Robbery, 2 counts of Theft of Means of Transportation

• Ricky Boykin (37-years-old): Armed Robbery, Aggravated Robbery, 2 counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Theft of Means of Transportation

• Priscilla Hamilton (42-years-old): Armed Robbery, Aggravated Robbery, 2 counts of Unlawful Use of Means of Transportation

The remaining suspect is still at large and has been known to hang around with Bryson Patterson near the Tucson Inn.

The remaining suspect is described as:

• Hispanic male

• Last seen wearing a t-shirt with a decal or image on the front

Sheriff’s Department detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the remaining suspect in this case. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is urged to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME
